I designed a card
depicting relaxation at the beach
I must admit that I have not taken the children to beach yet
I had two additional children 2 years apart
so hence my DH working 2nd shift
it made it difficult for me to do it alone
Now that the youngest one will be 2 in a few weeks
I've made it my duty to take them to
CHICAGO
to wiggle their toes
in the sands of Oak Street Beach
near the Magnificent Mile
They deserve to enjoy earth in it's natural form
acknowledge natural life around them
Bontanical Gardens
Brookfield/Linconl Park Zoo
just sitting the park closing their eyes and
listen to the waves crash
birds chirp
animal sounds
(dont forget the traffic sounds lol)
Many things that I didn't appreciate
Summer Fun
is the place to be

The colors are perfect with the seashells.
I love the soft feel of this card and I hope you and the little ones have great outings but it is so hot and humid out in that part of the country - I sure do not miss that. Here in NM it is just HOT, HOT, HOT

If you have the time I'd love for you to stop by my blog as well.
After seeing this layout - wow - I'm going to have to see that YouTube tutorial. Have a mini-iron from my miniatures days, would be great to get it back out and in use. Absolutely beautiful!!
