3rd Annual Very Steampunk Valentine Blog Hop Hosted by non other than Leslierahye who continues to amaze me with all her skills and creativity She is constantly in creation mode for as long as I can remember Despite the freezing cold that all of us have endured thus far in 2014 we still go outside and wrestle the elements to  send love greetings to our friends and family My initial project was an EPIC FAILURE!!!  So wasn't thinking about the physics of gravity ... lol Jump into plan "B" Here is a my piece dedicated to my love of  Steampunk

I started out by getting a candy heart shaped bowl from the dollar store I rubbed some Vaseline to keep it from adhering to the bowl once it's completely dry I used Mod Podge and mixed magicals into it to get the rich vibrant colors 

 I also sprayed my shelled heart with beautiful spray from LSG

I used thin dies from  Cheery Lynn Designs 

Gears, Heart n Gears to shape the heart

Gear Mesh Border  for the background dimension

I am also submitting this project in the Lindy's Stamp Gang  Monthly Color Challege

seeing nature change it colors
