ColourArte Monthly Challenge #1

Welcome everyone
Here is my submission to
ColourArte's Monthly Challenge #1

I applied white gesso on an empty tea bottle
With matte medium gel I applied a piece of mesh net and sea shells
I then again applied more white gesso
I used  Colour Arte Silks
Sapphire on Ice, Sunflower and Plumeria
and blended some gesso as well to give it more dimension.and highlights
For my first layered little ship die I used Colour Arte Twinkling H2Os
Pearl Blue, Pearl red and Pearl gold
and dabbed a little the same silks on the
second layer of my ship and added dimension with form squares
I applied coarse texture gel.
It has a grain sand like texture which was perfect for this project
I embedded loose pearls, sequins and sea bead which the medium was still wet
Recycled bottle
mesh net
ColourArte Silk Acrylics  Sapphire on Ice, Sunflower and Plumeria
ColourArte - Twinkling H2Os - Pearl Blue, Pearl Red and Pearl Gold
Liqutex - Coarse Textured Gel Medium
pearls, sequins and glass beads
