Leslie Rahye's - Very Steampunk Valentine Blog Hop

Hello Bloggernierz

Welcome to 2nd Annual

Leslie Rahyehas given us full range to create  any Steampunk Craft with a Valentine theme

My nana has been in an out of the hospital
and it has been exhausting
sleep walking
considering she is 87 years
life has gotten the best of her
and I am trying to spend as much time allowed
to be with her
My nana also has dementia which is not fun
she loves me
she loves me not
she remember all her children and ask who you are
it sometimes can be an emotional roller coaster
I created this wall decor
with nana in mind
as I reflect on how fragile we all are
I FIND
TIME - to remember who took care of whom first
LOVE - unconditional without judgment
KISS - not knowing when I will be able to do it again

FIND LOVE KISS TIME

What a fabulous artwork for this hop Jess. I currently take care of my mother with Alzheimer's so I can totally relate to the emotions which have inspired this and it brought tears to my eyes. The texture and all the added steam-punk elements are wonderful and you can totally tell this has come from the heart. TFS xx

So sorry to hear of your Nana's illness. It is exhausting caring for the elderly, and dementia is a cruel disease. So good that you used your art to help you through this difficult time. Sending you a hug.
